JRA trainer Naosuke Sugai recorded his 500th domestic win after T O Solennel won the Two-win Class Akashi Tokubetsu on April 2nd.

Sugai is best known for his association with six-time Grade 1 winner Gold Ship, as well as multiple Grade 1 winners Just a Way and Sodashi.

The Ritto-based trainer commented on his achievement "I'm deeply appreciative of my owners, stable staff and everyone who has supported me throughout my career. I also have to thank all the fans who supported us non-stop."
