Sent-off favourite, Run for Vow with Ryusei Sakai on board won the G2 Daily Hai Nisai Stakes at Kyoto Racecourse on Saturday. Dragon Boost finished second, a half-length behind the winner, and Daishin Ra came home in third, one-and-three-quarter lengths behind Dragon Boost. The winning time was 1:34.7.

Run for Vow is a daughter of Lord Kanaloa out of Kineo Dancer, by Deep Impact. She returned from the 6th place finish in the Newcomers with two straight victories to capture her first graded stakes title. She also became the first filly to win this race in eight years after Jeune Ecole won in 2016.
