Connections of juvenile JRA-G1 winner and G2 UAE Derby runner-up, Dura Erede, have announced their star colt will return to the JRA ranks on his next start. The Tokyo Yushun (Japanese Derby) has been targeted in favour of another international foray. The G1 Kentucky Derby had previously been under consideration.

Trainer Manabu Ikezoe stated his reasoning for turning down a Kentucky Derby invitation: "I thought it was not the right time and his condition is not suitable to run in the US. If everything is right with him, we will consider running in the Tokyo Yushun."
