Racing this week will take place at Nakayama and Kyoto Racecourses, with one graded stakes race scheduled.
On Saturday, December 28th, Nakayama Racecourse hosts the G1 Hopeful Stakes, the final JRA-G1 of the year. Undefeated two-year-olds such as Croix du Nord (C, 2), winner of the Tokyo Sports Hai Nisai Stakes, Masquerade Ball (C, 2), victor of the Ivy Stakes, and Magic Sands (C, 2), who claimed the Sapporo Nisai Stakes, will compete for the juvenile middle-distance crown.
On the NAR circuits, the G1 Tokyo Daishoten will take place on Sunday, December 29th, at Oi Racecourse. The lineup features veteran stars like Ushba Tesoro (H, 7), aiming for a third consecutive victory, Forever Young (C, 3), winner of the Japan Dirt Classic, and Wilson Tesoro (H, 5), runner-up in the Champions Cup.
Also, on Wednesday, December 25th, Sonoda Racecourse will host the JPN3 Hyogo Gold Trophy, where Aladdin Barows (G, 7), a third-place finisher in the JBC Sprint, is among the entries.
