Stellaria, with Taisei Danno on board, completed an upset in the G3 Fukushima Himba Stakes after coming back from a year-long break on Saturday. The pair started the race in mid-field and drew away from their rivals in the home stretch. Big Ribbon made a late challenge but ultimately finished second, a nose behind Stellaria.

Kurino Premium came in third a head behind Big Ribbon and the favourite of the race Storia finished fifth.

Stellaria is a daughter of Kizuna out of Pollenator, by Motivator. This was her first race after a break since running in the G3 Niigata Daishoten back in May 2022, and her first graded stakes success.
