Golden Hind wins Japanese Oaks trial

Golden Hind, ridden by Akira Sugawara won, the G2 Flora Stakes over 2000m wire-to-wire by 1.25L on Sunday. The daughter of Gold Ship was claiming her first Graded Stakes on her 7th start.
The race favourite, So Dazzling finished second followed by Bright Jewelry. England Eyes was in 4th and Deux Moulins finished 5th. Both the winner and So Dazzling earned an entry spot for the G1 Yushun Himba (Japanese Oaks).
Golden Hind is out of Shamardal mare Oregon Lady, and she also brought her trainer a first Graded Stakes title on Sunday.
