Titleholder after being pulled up
An update on the condition of overwhelming Tenno Sho (Spring) favourite, Titleholder, has been released from the trainer. The five-year-old colt from the stable of Toru Kurita was pulled-up abruptly on the final corner of the G1 3200m marathon.
Kurita commented "His tendon appears fine, and he is eating well, so it is not the worst outcome that was initially feared" he continued "He will be x-rayed on Wednesday and have an echocardiogram on Thursday, any future plans are dependent on the results of these tests."
