Satsuki Sho (Japanese 2000 Guineas) runner-up, Tastiera, will be partnered by Damian Lane in the Tokyo Yushun (Derby) on May 28th. Lane has become a familiar face in the JRA in recent years and is currently in Japan on a short-term license. The announcement was made on Carrot Racing Club's website, the club responsible for the management of Tastiera.

The Noriyuki Hori-trained colt is a G2 winner and finished a game second to Sol Oriens in the G1 Satsuki Sho.
