After being pulled up in the Tenno Sho (Spring), Titleholder was turned out to pasture and has now returned to the Miho Training Center on the 17th. Trainer Kurita commented, "We had planned to bring him back about 40 days before his comeback race and he's returned as scheduled. He has been progressing well throughout the summer. We will now step up his training and aim for the All Comers in September." He also mentioned that Titleholder will continue to be partnered with jockey Kazuo Yokoyama for his comeback race.
