Shivers will receive big support from racing fans who won't miss his smart pedigree as he makes his debut race this Sunday. His dam, Vivlos, is the winner of the G1 Shuka Sho and Dubai Turf, and there are plenty of G1 winners in the family tree. This pedigree is familiar to the trainer Yasuo Tomomichi and owner and former Major League Baseball player Kazuhiro Sasaki.

He has been showing up well during workouts, and trainer Tomomichi commented, "Firm ground will suit him and I think he will be a miler. He cherry-picked good things from his father Maurice and mother Vivlos and I like his personality as well."
