Iron Barows with Shu Ishibashi on board won the G2 Stayers Stakes in style at Nakayama on Saturday. The pair led the field all the way from the start to the finish line, Iron Barows finally getting his first graded stakes title at the 15th attempt. The winning time was 3:45.4.

Winning jockey Ishibashi reflected, "He did well. I did not want the pace to go too slow and we were able to control the pace as we were leading the way. He is a proper stayer and we were able to show that off today."
