JRA released the latest examination results for the trainer's license and it can now be revealed that Kyoko Maekawa is the first women to pass the exam in JRA history. She will be the first female trainer ever to train in a JRA training center.

Maekawa commented, "I am so happy and thankful to those who supported me to reach this point. At this moment, there is a big problem with staff shortage and hopefully, more girls will join the racing industry."
