Will Jantar Mantar win the G1 Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes and remain unbeaten on his third start? He won the Daily Hai Nisai Stakes with his outstanding style. In that race, he was positioned perfectly on rail, and quickened sharply in the home straight to win by two lengths.

"If he had started on the outside and not have been able to get cover behind other horses, who knows what the outcome would have been." Traner Takano said. He continued, "the jockey said it was a better performance than it looked. The club has told me they want to increase the distance, so I want to make sure he can run well," he said, looking ahead to the future.

Jantar Mantar looked to be in good shape in his workout a week before the race, showing a lively blowout on the slope course in Ritto Training Center. Then, the team decided to use Jocky Kawada in the saddle, so we are in the best hands.

"I am concerned about whether he will be able to get a clear run, because the field is completely different from the previous race. However, I don't see the change of venue to Hanshin as a challenge. I think he has good chance, and I am grateful to be in the spotlight for a G1 race. I really want to win for the horse." said Takano.
