Sent off favourite, Forever Young with Ryusei Sakai on board won the G1 Zen-Nihon Nisai Yushun at Kawasaki Racecourse. Aigle Noir finished second, seven lengths behind the winner, and Saint Honore came home in third, two-and-a-half lengths behind Aigle Noir.

Forever Young is a son of Real Steel out of Forever Darling, by Congrats. He remains unbeaten and has now won two graded stakes titles. The owner of Forever Young, Susumu Fujita was winning his first G1 title.
