Sprint G1 winners gathered in the G2 Hanshin Cup on Arima Kinen weekend, and Kohei Matsuyama led Win Marvel to the winner's circle for his second graded stakes title. Grenadier Guards finished second and Aguri came home in third.

Winning jockey Matsuyama commented, "All thanks to the stable staff who brought him to top condition. I could race however I wanted and he produced his best possible run. 1200m became too short for him as he aged and has been doing great over 1400m in his last two starts. I am happy to win against other G1 winners."
