Connections of the 2021 G1 Sprinters Stakes winner Pixie Knight announced on the JRA website on the 27th that Pixie Knight has retired and will head to Breeders Stallion Station in Hokkaido.

Pixie Knight is a son of Maurice out of Pixie Hollow by King Halo. 2022 G3 Radio NIKKEI Sho winner Feengrotten is a half-brother to Pixie Knight.

Pixie Knight won his first graded stakes in the G3 Shinzan Kinen and made further progress after switching to sprint races. He won his first and last G1 in the 2021 Sprinters Stakes before suffering a fracture in the G1 Hong Kong Sprint from an incident during the race. He finished his career in the G2 Hanshin Cup on the 23rd of this month.
