The Japan Racing Association announced on the 6th the list of JRA Racing School Students who passed the jockey's license exam. All eight students will officially receive a license on the 1st of March.

One student named Fukamichi Ishigami is the son of top jump jockey Shinichi Ishigami. Fukamichi commented: "I wanted to follow the path of my father. I want to become a top jockey in flat racing." Father Shinichi added, "I just wish him to have a good career in flat racing without injuries."
