The Japan Racing Association announced that Meisho Hario will not run in the G1 Saudi Cup this weekend after an unsatisfactory vet check. Meisho Hario is a son of Pyro out of Meisho Ohi, by Manhattan Cafe. He is a three-time JpnI winner and this was his first trip overseas.

His trainer Inao Okada commented: "He showed soreness right after his arrival and we tried everything to improve his condition. We wanted to avoid the worst possible scenario so I pulled him out of the race."
