Meisho Tabaru and Ryusei Sakai teamed up to win the G3 Mainichi Hai at Hanshin Racecourse in a dominant style on Saturday. Pre-race favourite Noble Roger finished second, six lengths behind the winner, and Newsies came home in third.

Meisho Tabaru is a son of Gold Ship out of Meisho Tsubakuro, by French Deputy. This is his third consecutive win and the first graded stakes title for trainer Mamoru Ishibashi.
