Dubai World Cup Day is just four days away! Twenty-three talented horses from Japan will be competing, one of the most notable among them is Do Deuce and jockey Yutaka Take, who will be taking on the Dubai Turf for the second year in a row. Last year he was found to have suffered a left front limb injury just before the race, forcing him to be scratched. This year's race he aims to avenge the disappointment of 12 months ago. He will challenge the world again with usual racing partner who together won the Arima Kinen at the end of last year.

Owner Masaaki Matsushima visited the horse during a week of training on March 13th, a week before he left Japan. He observed Do Deuce's powerful movements with Yutaka Take on his back and commented, "I'm happy to see that he is in good spirits. Jockey Take says he's moving great, so he must be good. I'm really looking forward to it and I just hope he runs safely," he said with a smile.

Looking back at his impressive Arima Kinen win, the owner said, "I felt the greatness of jockey Take. I was really happy. After Dubai, I think he'll win the Takarazuka Kinen, then he'll challenge for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe," he said, adding, "I think that's what the jockey is aiming for. Winning in Dubai is the first step towards realizing his dream." The owner is looking forward to seeing Yutaka Take and his beloved horse together.
