Second favourite Parallel Vision, with Keita Tosaki on board, won the G3 Lord Derby Challenge Trophy in style on Saturday. Eeyan made an early move but it was not enough to hold off the late challenge made by the winner. Ask Konnamonda finished third behind Eeyan. The winning time was 1:32.9.

Winning jockey Tosaki reflected: "I was able to race in an ideal spot. He responded beautifully and shaving off 16kg worked great for the horse." This is Tosaki's second consecutive Lord Derby CT title. He added: "This is all on the amazing horses. I cannot thank them enough."
