Sent-off favourite, Di Speranza with Joao Moreira on board won the G3 Arlington Cup at Hanshin Racecourse. Arranger finished second, a half-length behind the winner and Channel Tunnel came home in third, a nose behind Arranger. The winning time was 1:34.1 seconds.

Di Speranza is a son of Rulership out of Lupin II, by Medaglia d'Oro. This is his second consecutive win after winning the 1 Win Class and a first graded stakes title. The top three horses all clinched a spot in the G1 NHK Mile Cup.
