Di Speranza impressed Joao Moreira and answered the support from the fans with a graded stakes title in the G3 Arlington Cup at Hanshin Racecourse on Saturday.

Di Speranza showcased an exceptional turn of foot, swinging wide from an inside position where he had been blocked at the top of the stretch. He surged forward brilliantly to snatch victory at the wire with a winning time of 1:34.1 seconds. The longshot Arranger, who ran gamely from the front, finished in second place, while Channel Tunnel, who moved up from midfield, came in third. These top three finishers secured an entry spot in the G1 NHK Mile Cup.

Winning jockey Joao Moreira praised Di Speranza highly, saying, "He's a truly great horse. Coming into the stretch, we were tight along the rail and I was concerned about finding space. But when a gap opened up with about 300 meters to go, the horse responded with incredible acceleration and showed something special. It was a very impressive win." He added, "With a smoother flow and more space, he might have been even stronger. In that sense, I'm really looking forward to seeing him compete at the G1 level over 1600 meters at Tokyo."
