Mystik Dan with Brian Hernandez Jr on board won the G1 Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. Sierra Leone finished second and Forever Young from Japan finished third in an exhilarating blanket finish to one of the world's most famous races. Another Japanese runner, T O Password came home in fifth. The winning time was 2:03.34.

Mystik Dan is a son of Goldencents out of Ma'am by Colonel John. He finished third in the G1 Arkansas Derby last time out and stepped up to win America's biggest three-year-old title, the Derby in Kentucky.
