American owner makes his presence known at the JRHA Select Sale

The American owner of Repole Stable, which owns this year's Florida Derby winner Fierceness, purchased five horses at the Select Sale on July 8th.
The American outfit first purchase was a 50 million JPY bid for '23 ex Sound Barrier by sire Contrail, and 68 million JPY purchase for '23 ex Ginger Punch by sire Kizuna.
Katsumi Yoshida, representative of Northern Farm, said with a smile, "He bid well and was very eager to win". Looking to the future, he added, "I think there will be an era when borders will disappear".
