Five stallions that began an export quarantine on July 1 at the Shadai's Iburi Export Quarantine Facility in Shiraoi, Hokkaido, have completed their quarantine period. They departed the facility early on the morning of the 16th for their journey abroad.

The stallions in quarantine included Maurice and Admire Mars, who stand at Shadai Stallion Station in Abira, Satono Aladdin from Breeders' Stallion Station in Hidaka, Benbatl, who just finished his third season at Big Red Farm, and Panthalassa, who began his stud career this year at Arrow Stud.

Maurice, Admire Mars, Benbatl, and Panthalassa are headed to Australia, while Satono Aladdin will stand in New Zealand. All five stallions are expected to return in time for the Northern Hemisphere breeding season next year.
