Confident in his aptitude for turf racing, two-year-old colt Triplete looks to make his debut on Sunday in Race 5 at Hakodate. Out of an Irish mare by Saxon Warrior, a G1 winner of the English 2000 Guineas, Triplete is aiming for a victorious first run. Rider Hagino expressed confidence, "The idea is to use his long, strong stride. Given his pedigree, longer distances and this track should suit him well."

Since arriving at Hakodate, Triplete has trained smoothly, holding his own even in workouts against older horses. "He's been running well in training. I'm really looking forward to it," Hagino added optimistically.
