Shadai Stallion Station announce stallion returns for 2024

Shadai Stallion Station announced the number of mares covered by their stallions for this northern hemisphere breeding season on September 1st.
In his first season at stud, Equinox, with a stud fee set at 20 million JPY, covered 203 mares. Similarly priced at 20 million JPY, Kitasan Black covered 191 mares, down from last year's leading figure of 242 mares.
The stallion with the highest number of coverings this year was Kizuna, which saw a significant increase to 218 mares, up by 66 from the previous year. Kizuna gained attention in the spring with notable performances from his progenies, including Justin Milano winning the Satsuki Sho, as well as Sunrise Zipangu and Sixpence.
Other sizeable books include, Contrail, who covered 205 mares, Efforia with 202 mares, and Salios with 196.
