Aaron's Rod, the first foal of nine-time G1 winner Almond Eye and a colt by Epiphaneia, will not be making his debut at Niigata Racecourse on August 11th as initially planned. Silk Horse Club announced on their website on the 31st that the colt's debut will be postponed.

Originally scheduled to debut in the Race 5 at Niigata (a 1600-meter turf race), Aaron's Rod will instead be sent to Northern Farm Tenei in Fukushima Prefecture for further training due to not being fully prepared for the race.
