Smile Through with Jun Takada on board won the Jump Open Class Seishu Stakes at Nakayama Racecourse. Okini finished second six lengths behind the winner and Narino Montagne came home in third four lengths behind Okini. The winning time was 3:29.3.

Smile Through is a son of Rulership out of Smile Shower by Symboli Kris S. This is his second consecutive victory following his win in the Jump maiden race. This winning time was also the record-winning time for the 3210m jump race under Japan Racing Association rules.
