On September 21st at Nakayama Racecourse, jockey Christophe Lemaire secured victory in Race 9 aboard Ecoro Sieg, marking his 1,919th career win in Japan Racing Association (JRA) races. This achievement, which includes 152 graded stakes victories (50 of them in G1 races), moved him ahead of former jockey Shinji Fujita to claim sole possession of 10th place on the JRA's all-time wins list.

Lemaire expressed his joy, stating, "I'm pleased to have surpassed the record of former jockey Shinji Fujita, and the rhythm of victories has been quick. My next goal is to reach 2,000 wins, and I will keep working hard to achieve it."
