On September 30th, it was announced that last year's Champion Two-Year-Old Filly Ascoli Piceno, winner of the G3 Keisei Hai Autumn Handicap, will be aimed to run in the Golden Eagle (November 2nd, Rose Hill Gardens) in Australia, a race worth approximately 500 million Yen. The Sunday Thoroughbred Club, to which the horse belongs, made the announcement on its website.

The horse was sent to pasture at Northern Farm Tenei in Fukushima Prefecture after her last run and was moved to a quarantine stable on September 30th. She is scheduled to leave Japan bound for Sydney from Narita Airport on the 14th of this month. Riding arrangements have yet to be declared. The race was won by Obamburumai last year.
