The 2022 G1 Shuka Sho winner, Stunning Rose looks ready for a strong comeback in the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup. On the 6th, she completed a solo track work at Ritto Training Center's slope course, covering 4 furlongs in 53.7 seconds with a final 3 furlongs in 38.5 and a last furlong in 12.2 seconds, all under a comfortable hands-and-heels ride.

Christian Demuro was on board and expressed satisfaction, saying, "She feels great, and I can sense her eagerness, she's definitely in with a chance." Groom Ogawa was similarly optimistic, noting, "She finished strong without any holding back. Christian said she's in 'good condition,' and she's showing real fighting spirit. The recent races seem to have sharpened her."

Although her recent performances have been subdued, Stunning Rose has proven her class with back-to-back wins in the Shion Stakes and Shuka Sho in her three-year-old season, capturing a G1 title. In her recent Queen Stakes (6th), she was only 0.2 seconds behind the winner, suggesting her performance was better than the result. Demuro, who has reviewed her race footage, commented, "Her last race was solid, and she seems to be in even better condition now."

A four-time G1 winner in Japan and a two-time Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe victor, most recently with Ace Impact last year, Demuro has become a force to be reckoned with. Since obtaining his short-term license, his winning spree has included six consecutive victories in his first week, confirming his reputation as a world-class jockey who can guide Stunning Rose back to the G1 winner's circle.
