At the Fasig-Tipton November Sale in Kentucky on November 4, Katsumi Yoshida of Northern Farm purchased the triple G1-winning mare Adare Manor for 2.8 million USD (approximately 400 million yen). Adare Manor, sired by Uncle Mo out of Brooklynsway (by Giant Gizmo), boasts a record of 10 wins in 18 starts. She claimed her first G1 title last year in the Clement L. Hirsch Stakes, followed by a 7th-place finish in the Breeders' Cup Distaff. This year, she clinched the Apple Blossom Handicap by a margin of 5 1/2 lengths and successfully defended her title in the Clement L. Hirsch Stakes, bringing her G1 wins to three.
Yoshida also acquired Queen Goddess, the 2021 American Oaks winner in foal to Into Mischief, for 1.5 million USD, as well as No Fear, last year's Argentine 1000 Guineas winner and an Agnes Gold offspring, for 700,000 USD. Altogether, Northern Farm purchased five horses for a total of 6.35 million USD (around 960 million yen).
