Sent-off favourite, Gabby's Sister with Hayato Yoshida on board won the G3 Capella Stakes at Nakayama Racecourse. Kurojishi Joe finished second, a neck behind the winner, and Diretor came home in third, a neck behind Kuroshiji Joe. The winning time was 1:10.1.

Gabby's Sister is a daughter of Apollo Kingdom out of Ange d'Etoile, by Special Week. This is her third straight victory overall and her fifth straight victory on dirt track. Gabby's Sister, Hayato Yoshida (after recovering from injury in April), and trainer Kazutomo Mori all marked their first graded stakes title with this victory.
