Songline, with Keita Tosaki on board, showed off her incredible speed and stamina in the G1 Yasuda Kinen on Sunday. Coming from behind, she made her challenge wide rounding the home turn, and passed her rivals in the home stretch to win by 1.25 lengths. Serifos finished second and the favourite of the race, Schnell Meister, came home in third.

The beloved white-wonder Sodashi finished seventh.

Songline is a daughter of Kizuna out of Luminous Parade, by Symboli Kris S. This was her third Grade 1 title, and her second in a row after she took the Victoria Mile last month. Songline is the third horse to win two consecutive Yasuda Kinens, joining Yamanin Zephyr and Vodka.
