Mirai Iwata guided Ask One Time to a stylish victory in the G3 Kokura Nisai Stakes. Dona Venus made the running, while Ask One Time waited patiently towards the rear. Ask One Time recorded the fastest final three furlongs sectional time of 34.04. Miltenberg finished second by a head with Can See Angel coming home in third.

Winning jockey Iwata reflected "I knew Ask One Time wouldn't be able to track the the pace in the early part of the race. Winning horses for today's racing at Kokura Racecourse have largely been from the back, so I planned to take my time. He responded beautifully in the home stretch and finished strongly." For his future plans, he suggested "I love racing with him and he has stamina as well. I think he can step up in distance."

Ask One Time made his debut in July and finished second. He broke his maiden a few weeks later and won his first graded stakes title today. His full-brother Fantasist won the same race back in 2018 and his full-sister Buon Voyage won the G3 Kitakyushu Kinen which are all 1200m races at Kokura Racecourse.
