Moryana showed-off an impressive closing spurt to win the G2 Shion Stakes with Norihiro Yokoyama. This is her first graded stakes title and secured an entry spot alongside runner-up, Hip Hop Soul, and Shirankedo who finished third. The winning time was 1:58.0.

Winning jockey Yokoyama reflected "I knew she had potential but needed to bring her body weight down a bit. I am glad that our hard work paid off with the win. She is still young and has a lot of scope for improvement. I hope everything goes well with her."
