Mirai Iwata guided Masked Diva to a record win in the G3 Rose Stakes at Hanshin Racecourse. Masked Diva finished with a time of 1:43.0 which broke the JRA record time by 0.8 seconds. Race favourite, Brede Weg finished second with Malaki Naia finishing in third. These three horses punched a ticket to the G1 Shuka Sho in October.

Winning jockey, Iwata reflected "We were travelling in a good rhythm and always comfortable. I thought I may have pushed too early but that was not a problem for her. She wanted to go more so I am excited for the next race." Forher next engagement, Iwata commented "Finally, we get to compete in a top-class horses and I am looking forward to seeing how she will run against them. She still has the room to improve so I cannot wait."
