The Hokkaido September Sale, organized by the Hidaka Horse Breeders Association started today at their sales complex in Shizunai, Hokkaido. 181 yearlings were catalogued for the first day of the sale. 123 lots successfully changed hands sold to buyers for an average price of 5,336,585 JPY.

The highest-priced yearling of the day was a colt by Suave Richard out Hishi Stormy, sold for a price of 25,000,000 purchased by Capital System Co., Ltd. the three-part sale September Sale will continue until Thursday.
