26-year-old jockey, Nanako-Fujita competed in the International Championship for Jockeys at Zarzuela Racecourse in Spain on September 24th. She was fourth in the first race of the day, eleventh in the second, and seventh in the third race. She received 11 points from those races and finished 9th in the overall ranking.

Twelve female jockeys from ten different countries rode in the race. This was Nanako's seventh trip abroad but her first time riding in Spain.
