Connections have announced that three-time G1-winning white wonder Sodashi will retire from racing. She will head to the paddocks of Northern Farm in Hokkaido for broodmare duties.

Trainer Naosuke Sugai commented "The owner of Sodashi, Mr. Kaneko, rang my phone after her full sister, Mama Cocha won her first G1 in the Sprinters Stakes and said it's good timing to retire Sodashi. She did countless good things for racing and brought a new audience from in and outside of Japan."

He added "Mama Cocha will follow her legacy and as a broodmare, I hope she will be successful. I would like to thank Mr. Kaneko and all the Sodashi fans for supporting us throughout her career."
