Trainer Yoshito Yahagi announced on the 25th that Saudi Cup hero Panthalassa will return to the race track in the G1 Champions Cup in December. He will return to Ritto Training Center next week, and has been enjoying a rest at pasture.

Yahagi commented, "The farm side of the operation suggested he might run in the Tenno Sho (Autumn) but I wanted to be extra cautious with him, so I decided to run him in the Champions Cup. His desmitis is not severe, but still I will take extra time with his recovery. He ran well on the Saudi dirt but Japanese dirt is different so I am not 100% about this run."
