Racing media outlet At The Races announced on the 23rd that the G1 St. Leger winner Continuous will run in the G1 Japan Cup in November.

Irish-based trainer Aidan O'Brien has had six runners in the Japan Cup so far throughout his career, and a fifth-place finish by Idaho in 2017 is his highest-placed horse in Japan. Continuous is a son of Heart's Cry out of Fluff, by Galileo and was bred at Paca Paca Farm in Hokkaido. St. Leger winners don't have a sparkling record in the Japan Cup, and Continuous is expected to have a hard time adapting to the Japanese ultra high-speed racing style.
