Sent off favorite, last-start winner Cervinia was guided by Christophe Lemaire to win the G3 Artemis Stakes at Tokyo Racecourse. Safira finished the second one-and-three-quarter length behind the winner and Steelblue came home in third, a half-length behind Safira. The winning time was 1:33.6.

Cervinia is a daughter of Harbinger out of Cecchino, by King Kamehameha. She dominated in her previous start, a maiden race, and was winning her first graded stakes title comfortably on Saturday.
