Ryan Moore has arrived at the Miho Training Center to receive his short-term license ahead of his winter JRA campaign. He commented, "I have been here countless times but every time I get so excited to ride here."

This weekend, he will ride a horse who can be counted as special to his career. Moore rode both Maurice and Gentildonna who are sire and mare of Geraldina. He won a total of six G1s between them, and he is the perfect jockey to complete the story of this family in the G1 QEII Cup.

He added, "I love pedigrees in Japan. There are many horses where I rode their fathers or mothers. It feels special to be able to experience this in Japan and looking forward to this Sunday."
