Sent-off favourite, Jantar Mantar won the G2 Daily Hai Nisai Stakes under Katsuma Sameshima with a dominant display. Enya Love Faith finished second and Namura Hooker came home in third.

Winning jockey Sameshima commented, "It was a good race. I was able to guide him through the pack of horses in the homestretch and he seemed comfortable after the race as well. I rode him before the race and I dreamed of going to big races with him and that is possible now. I have to be a better jockey to be able to race at the highest level."
