Sent off favourite, Shin Emperor with Joao Moreira won the G3 Kyoto Nisai Stakes at Kyoto Racecourse on Saturday and remains unbeaten. Prelude City finished second, a half-length behind the winner, and Satono Strasse came home a nose behind Prelude City. The winning time was 1:59.8.

Shin Emperor, full brother of the Arc winner Sottsass, is a son of Siyouni out of Starlet's Sister, by Galileo. This is his second consecutive win after breaking his maiden in his debut race and he remains unbeaten.
