138 registered for Dubai World Cup night

Japan Racing Association has announced the list of JRA-registered horses who have been entered to run on Dubai World Cup night. The list includes 138 horses for eight races including last year's Dubai World Cup winner, Ushba Tesoro and JBC Classic victor King's Sword.

Here is the list of races and the number of JRA horses:

G2 Godolphin Mile (Dirt 1600m)

34 Japanese horses have been registered including 2022 winner Bathrat Leon and Champion Dirt Horse Lemon Pop, winner of two JRA dirt G1s last year.

G2 Dubai Gold Cup (Turf 3200m)

10 horses have been registered from Japan with the G2 Stayers Stakes winner, Iron Barows, topping the list

G2 UAE Derby (Dirt 1900m)

43 horses have been registered from Japan including the hugely impressive JPN1 Zen Nihon Nisai Yushun winner Forever Young.

G1 Al Quoz Sprint (Turf 1200m)

18 JRA speedsters have been registered from Japanese speed ranks including the G3 Hankyu Hai winner Aguri and the G2 Swan Stakes winner Win Greatest.

G1 Dubai Golden Shaheen (Dirt 1200m)

25 horses have been registered from Japan including Red le Zele who finished second in 2022.

G1 Dubai Turf (Turf 1800m)

22 horses have been registered for a the race that has proved to be a happy hunting ground for ?Japanese raiders. Entrants include G1 Arima Kinen winner Do Deuce and Namur who won the G1 Mile Championship.

G1 Dubai Sheema Classic (Turf 2410m)

21 horses have been registered from Japan including the Triple Tiara winner Liberty Island.

G1 Dubai World Cup (Dirt 2000m)

19 horses have been registered from Japan including last year's winner Ushba Tesoro and Derma Sotogake who finished second in the Breeder's Cup Classic.
