Living up to her name, the stunning pure white filly Gorgeous (2yo filly by Gold Ship) is set to make her debut in Race 5 Newcomers at Chukyo Racecourse (1600m Turf, Fillies) on Monday. The white coat, inherited from her dam Satono Jasmine, has already attracted plenty of attention, but it's her quality of movement that has impressed the most.

In her final trackwork a week prior, she breezed on the woodchip track at the Ritto Training Center, working in a group of three. Without being asked for much, she clocked an impressive 6F in 85.5 seconds, including a sharp final furlong in 11.6 seconds, easily matching strides with her stablemates.

Trainer Hirofumi Shii is confident in her progress, saying, "She's been coming along smoothly. She jumps well from the gate, has no bad habits, and is very manageable. She has speed and a strong desire to run forward. I believe the conditions suit her perfectly."
